I am proud to announce the upcoming exhibition of my carvings in the Städtisches Museum Kalkar in Germany, from 16 July to 10 September 2023.
When I was a small child, my parents took me to visit the Nikolaikirche in the beautiful old town of Kalkar. I came face to face with a collection of late Gothic carvings there, and was deeply impressed. The experience has always stayed with me. It has shaped me as an artist, and it is reflected in my work.
For this reason, being able to exhibit my work in Kalkar is incredibly special. Mark it in your calendar, come to the exhibition, and do visit the Nikolaikirche as well while you’re there. The things you’ll see in the church are incomparable, and are still relatively unknown. I will keep you informed.
